Terms and conditions
Last updated 31 August 2026
These terms govern your use of bankerpedia.com and the purchase of any service sold on it. The site is owned and operated by Bhanu Srivastav, a sole proprietor trading as Bankerpedia, with a registered office at 2A/127, Awas Vikas Colony, Harpur, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh 277001, India. In this document, "we" and "us" mean Bankerpedia, and "you" means the person or company buying or using our services.
By placing an order or making a payment on this site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site or buy from it.
1. What we sell
Bankerpedia provides a free public bank ratings platform, Bank Complaint AI, aggregated rating data for research teams, and custom platform engineering. All services are digital. They are delivered over the internet as hosted software, deployed websites or applications, source files and written reports. We do not sell or ship any physical goods.
1A. Independence and what we are not
Bankerpedia is an independent software company. We are not a bank, an NBFC, a lender, a deposit taker, a broker, an insurance intermediary, a debt recovery agency or a law firm. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, appointed by or acting on behalf of the Reserve Bank of India, any ombudsman office, any grievance authority or any bank named on the site.
Bank Complaint AI produces a written draft and an information sheet about the escalation route that applies to a case of your type. It is not legal advice and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified advocate. We do not file, send, submit or pursue anything on your behalf, we do not represent you before any authority, and we do not hold client money.
We do not promise, and cannot promise, that a complaint will be accepted, that a bank will respond, that any decision will go your way, or that any amount will be reversed, refunded or recovered. You are paying for a drafting and information tool, not for an outcome.
1B. Ratings, reviews and user content
- Ratings, votes and written reviews on the site are the personal opinions of the people who submitted them, not statements of fact by us, and not our own assessment of any bank.
- Votes are verified by one time password to reduce manipulation, and rankings are computed with a Wilson lower bound score. No verification method is perfect and we make no warranty that every submission is genuine.
- By submitting a review you confirm it describes your own experience, is honest, and contains no defamatory statement, no abusive language, no other person's private information and no account numbers or credentials.
- You grant us a licence to publish, store, translate and summarise your submission on the site, including as part of an automatically generated summary of reviews for a bank.
- We may remove or refuse any submission that appears fake, paid for, abusive, defamatory or in breach of law, and we may suspend accounts used to manipulate a ranking.
- Any bank or person who believes a published submission is unlawful may write to the grievance address below. We review such notices and act within the time the law requires.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you are buying on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.
3. Orders, quotes and scope
- Subscription services are ordered directly from the pricing section of the site and begin as soon as payment succeeds.
- Build projects are quoted first. We send a written scope note listing features, price and delivery date. Work begins only after you approve that note and pay the agreed advance.
- Anything not written in the scope note is not included. Additional work is quoted separately and charged separately.
- We may decline or cancel an order if the request is unlawful, technically unfeasible, or outside what we are able to deliver. In that case any amount already collected is refunded in full.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices shown on the site are in Indian Rupees and are the amounts charged at checkout.
- The business is not registered under GST. No GST is charged, collected or recoverable on these invoices.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details on our servers.
- Subscriptions are billed for the period stated on the plan. Build projects are normally billed as an advance before work starts and the balance before final handover.
- Clients outside India are invoiced at the equivalent amount in USD. Bank charges or currency conversion fees applied by your own bank are yours to pay.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate contact and billing details, and keep them current.
- Supply the content, access, logins and approvals we need, within a reasonable time. Delays on your side move the delivery date by the same amount.
- Make sure you own or are licensed to use any text, images, code, trademarks or data you send us.
- Keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
- Do not use our services to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, send unsolicited bulk messages, or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer our systems.
6. Delivery and acceptance
Delivery timelines are set out in our delivery policy. On a build project, you have seven days from handover to report anything that does not match the agreed scope. We fix those items at no cost. After seven days the work is treated as accepted.
7. Revisions
Each build includes the number of revision rounds stated in the scope note. A revision means a change within the agreed scope. A change of direction, a new feature or a new page is new work and is quoted separately.
8. Intellectual property
- Content you give us stays yours.
- On full payment, the custom design and code we produced specifically for your project is assigned to you.
- We keep ownership of our own reusable components, libraries, internal tooling and know how, and of any hosted software you access on a subscription. A subscription grants you a licence to use that software, not ownership of it.
- Third party components remain governed by their own licences.
- Unless you ask us not to, we may name you as a client and show non confidential screenshots of the work in our portfolio.
9. Confidentiality
Each side agrees to keep the other's non public business information confidential and to use it only to perform or receive the services.
10. Third party services
Our work often relies on third party platforms such as hosting providers, domain registrars, analytics tools, AI model providers and payment gateways. Their availability, pricing and policies are outside our control. Fees charged by those providers are yours to pay unless the scope note says otherwise.
11. Warranty and disclaimer
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, services are provided on an as available basis. We do not warrant that a site or platform will be free of every defect, that hosting will never be interrupted, or that any specific commercial outcome, search ranking, traffic level or revenue figure will be achieved.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business or loss of goodwill.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end a service if an invoice is unpaid, if these terms are breached, or if the service is used unlawfully. You may cancel a subscription at any time as described in our refund and cancellation policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to it. Material changes take effect for new orders and for the next renewal of a subscription.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ballia, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to the grievance process below.
